Preparedness Training for COVID-19 with Customs Officers

While Tonga prepares for TC Harold, the Ministry of Health continued with preparedness training for COVID-19 with Customs officers who are also at the frontline as they work at Tonga’s Fua’amotu International Airport.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Reynold ‘Ofanoa who was on site for a meeting took the opportunity to thank trainer Sela Fa’u from the Ministry of Health and the team who are working hard to mitigate risks of the introduction of COVID-19 and its spread.

Dr. ‘Ofanoa thanked Customs for their cooperation and commended them on their commitment to safer practises. As their jobs require them to be at the border, it is key for those at the frontline to also know how best to protect themselves.

Thank you for serving Tonga.
